Longtime Glasgow resident, Robert LeRoy Maas, 84, peacefully passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, surrounded by family, in Billings, Mont. Bob was born December 26, 1936 in Glasgow, Mont., to parents, Harry A. Maas and Olga Frances (Warrick) Maas. Both have preceded him in death. Farrel (Jackson) Strahs, 68, died of natural causes on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, Mont. She was born on July 13, 1945, the daughter of Wilson and Josephine (Schindler) Jackson. She attended schools in Frazer and lived in the Oswego Bottom and Frazer area. The three-way contest for one seat on the Glasgow School Board was settled Tuesday night. Mona Amundson was elected to a three-year term with 739 votes. Sarah Swanson had 418 votes and Rod Ost had 137. Voting was running high for this election. Forty-three percent of the 3,084 registered voters requested absentee ballots.
