    The American Red Cross urges blood donors to give now and help fight the potential impact of seasonal illnesses and a potentially severe flu season on the blood supply.     The Glasgow Police Department is currently investigating two different attempted children abductions that occurred within city limits. The first attempt was on Aug. 19, where a white male, who was described to be in his 40s, 5’10” with no facial hair, wearing a dark blue shirt, torn shoes and black pants, tried to lure a young girl into his pickup.
