    Montana Governor Greg Gianforte issued an executive order on Feb. 12 allowing the statewide mask mandate to expire following his signing of a law protecting businesses from COVID-related liabilities. The news was not a surprise.     Clayton M. Long passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020. Born April 18, 1933 in Big Beaver, Saskatchewan, to Ernest N. Long and Esther L. Tollefson, he was one of five children. He married Alta (Kay) Campbell on December 16, 1950 and moved to Glasgow in 1956. He farmed west of Glasgow from the early 1960s until he moved his farming operation near Nashua, Montana.
