Lucky Clover 4-H did a Meal Fundraiser, and we want to thank the Nashua community for their support of Lucky Clover 4-H. Our club has been doing roller skating for Club Community Hours from 1-3 p.m. on Sundays at the Nashua Civic Center. The Glasgow City Council met in special session on Jan. 10 to further discuss with the Siding 45 Skatepark committee where the best location would be to build the new proposed skatepark. The proposal that has been presented to the City Council by Siding 45, which is now a designated 501c3, stated they will donate to the City of Glasgow a $300,000 park renovation featuring a professional designed and built concrete skatepark. Key findings in the report show that in 2010 around 85 percent of housing in Glasgow was built prior to 1976. The percentage of home ownership was also lower here than in the state and nation. Deputy Christopher Richter began work for the county on Monday, Dec. 16. As Richter settles in, he said he's excited to work for this department and glad to be part of a smaller community. It was a perfect December day on the 2nd for the annual Middle Of Nowhere Polar Plunge in front of the Glasgow Civic Center during the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture's Winter Wonderland Christmas Stroll.
