With last year's Paint Run/Walk being such a hit, Glasgow High School student council and G-club have decided they will continue it as an annual tradition. The 2nd Annual Paint Run/Walk will be on Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. Early registration will start at 8 a.m. and the run/walk will start at the Glasgow Civic Center. The Glasgow Civic Center was the setting for a three-day wrestling camp presented by some high-caliber clinicians. The camp was held Aug. 7-9, and boasted 77 attendees. Mike Zadick and Derek St. John, both assistant coaches at Virginia Tech, led the camp with help from Billings West's head coach Jeremy Hernandez, as well as GHS coaches and other Montana High School coaches. Guest speaker will be Jim Buer, a farmer/rancher from Scobey. He was assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry, known as the “Old Guard,” in Washington, D.C. in 1958.
