Both the North Country boys and girls basketball teams brought home two wins from Lewistown this past weekend. The girls team defeated the Centerville Miners 72-20 Dec. 13 and beat the Roy-Winifred Red Raiders 45-38 Dec. 14. The boys took down the Hobson Moore Titans 74-31 Dec. 13 and defeated Centerville 49-46 Dec. 14. Girls The Frazer girls basketball team dropped two games last week for a 2-2 record after two weeks of play. The Bearcubs lost in Brockton 82-23 Dec. 13 and fell 60-57 to MonDak at home Dec. 14. Brockton ran up a 35-4 lead in the first quarter and outpaced Frazer 21-7 in the second for a 56-11 lead at the half. The Bearcubs put up 10 in the third but the Warriors built on their lead with 18 points. Frazer was outpaced 8-2 in the final eight minutes for the 82-23 loss. Stats were unavailable.
