  • Young Entrepreneur Workshop

    On Sunday, Sept. 23, from noon until 5 p.m., at the Cottonwood Inn, SCORE.ORG will host a young entrepreneur workshop. This is an all inclusive workshop, serving pizza for dinner, that will aid in directing young people in effective startup and growth. Included but not limited to groups like 4-H, FFA, FCCLA and truly anyone starting a new business or thinks they want to learn more about doing so.   • Cleaning the Garden?

    It seems as though our hot summer weather has departed. I don't expect prolonged heat to return so I've taken our two window air conditioners out. They're stored for the winter. If we do get an occasional hot day, the fans can handle our need for quick cooling. So now the windows need washing, but I'm not ready to take down the screens just yet.
