    The Glasgow Scottie football team extended their win streak to three this past week with a 20-13 road win over Columbus. Glasgow holds a 3-0 record heading into Homecoming against Manhattan this weekend. Quarterback Khye Gamas started the scoring action early in the second quarter with a 49 yard run to take a 6-0 lead over the Cougars. The Scotties doubled their score 5 minutes later on another Gamas run from 14 yards out. Columbus lit up their side of the scoreboard just before halftime to give Glasgow a 12-7 lead heading into the second half....

    Thursday, we traveled to Harlem to take on the Wildcats. Varsity won in 3, JV won in 5 and C squad won in 5. Was a good battle for week two.     Nashua started their season at the Culbertson Invitational Aug. 31. Nashua lost 6-25, 3-25, to Savage before losing to Lustre Christian, 11-25, 19-25. Nashua won their last match, 25-15, 25-19, against Culbertson. The Porcupines hosted Plentywood Sept. 6 and lost in three sets, 23-25, 12-25, 13-25.     The Lustre Christian Lions volleyball team hosted MonDak Sept. 10 and attended the Scobey Invite Sept. 14.. Lustre lost in five to MonDak 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 17-25, 6-15. The Lustre junior high team won 22-25, 25-12, 15-6 while the grade school lost 9-15, 7-15, 3-15. The junior high and grade school teams hosted North Country Sept. 13.     The Frazer Bearcubs volleyball team played Bainville and Froid/Lake last week, losing both matches. Frazer dropped a three-set match to Bainville 9-25, 11-25, 13-25, and lost 2-25, 6-25, 4-25 to the Froid/Lake Redhawks. Frazer did not attend the Scobey Invite after being left off a schedule rewrite.     Frazer Frazer attended the Scobey XC Meet Sept. 13. Gabe Beston led the boys team with a time of 19:55.08 and placed fifth out of 43 runners. Cassius Smoker took 29th with a 23:32.33 time. Brianna Beston paced the girls team with a 28:50.25 time and a 22nd place showing out of 34 competitors. Noli Sibley was directly behind her in 23rd and a 29:09.16 time.
