    The Scottie football team opened up their 2024 season with a decisive road win in Shepherd Aug. 30. Glasgow downed the Mustangs 51-8 after the Scotties put up four touchdowns in the first quarter. The Scotties kept the Mustangs off the scoreboard until the fourth quarter. In the first quarter of play, Glasgow saw touchdowns on a Liam Chapman run, a Khye Gamas throw to Cade Hudyma, a throw to Wyatt Babb and a Tavin Boland punt return.     The Scottie cross country teams kicked off their 2024 season at the Billings Invitational Aug. 30. The girls team scored 219 points to take ninth place and the boys put up 322 points for 12th place. In JV action, the boys took 10th with 221 points. The Scottie girls were led by Haleigh Huntsman who ran a 23:15.48 to take 33rd out of 101 runners. Kheyerah Bilger placed 53rd at 24:26.56.     Cross Country runners from Frazer, Hinsdale and Nashua started their 2024 season Aug. 30 at the Wolf Point XC Invitational. None of the teams fielded enough competitors to qualify for a team score. Frazer Girls Brianna Beston paced the Bearcubs with a 17th place showing, out of 45 runners, and a 26:28.34 time.
