Martin Boardroom.     The City of Glasgow at a work session on Aug. 13, gave preliminary approval to a general fund budget and set assessments for the new fiscal year. The general fund budget was set at $3,318,112. The general fund budget funds services such as the Glasgow Police Department, Glasgow Fire Department and the Glasgow Recreation Department. The council gave preliminary approval to a tax cut for city of Glasgow property taxpayers.
