Richard “Dick” Cotton, of Glasgow, died in a rollover crash along US Highway 87, near mile marker 7, in Musselshell County on July 26. According to the report provided by the Montana Highway Patrol, Cotton was southbound in a Ford Galaxy when the right rear tire blew out. The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) has released its 2024 Montana Drought Outlook Report. According to the report, much of Montana is facing abnormally dry to severe drought conditions resulting from low snowpack and below-average precipitation during spring and early summer.
