    After two long days of fishing on Fort Peck Reservoir, July 12 and 13, and after the fish had all been weighed and the numbers tallied; the pair of Owen Wilcox, Laurel, and Ziek Gordon, Bozeman, left no doubt.     The City of Glasgow is thrilled to announce a significant boost to the Valco Pool Committee’s Project. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) has awarded $324,471 to the City, propelling the Valco Pool Committee closer to their fundraising goal. This additional grant from the LWCF brings the Pool Committee approximately $220,000 away from having the bathhouse fully funded. Since 2018, the Valco Pool Committee has raised $3,979,665.     The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, an international torch relay, ran through Glasgow on July 9 passing a torch along the way. The runners started their day in Saco and continued into Hinsdale eventually getting to Glasgow on Baylor Road. They continued to West Fork and stayed overnight in Scobey.     US Navy veteran Todd Ross traveled to Fort Peck on June 28 to fix two of the flags at the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial.
