    The Scottie track and field team has been putting in some long hours this past week. According to head coach Tim Phillips, the team has competed in four separate meets in the span of eight days.     The Lady Scottie softball team was on the road to Havre for a pair of games on May 4. They were matched up against two entirely different teams for the day, facing the Conrad Cowgirls and the Shelby Lady Coyotes. At the conclusion of conference play for the season, the Cowgirls are seeded third and the Lady Coyotes are seeded ninth. Conrad dominated over Glasgow and defeated the Scotties 19-3 in four innings.     The Scottie golfers had another great meet in Harlem on May 3. Lexie Pehlke led the girls to a second-place finish with her first place personal best score of 86. Alexus Nistler shot a 104 for seventh, Shanice Lagerquist shot a 111 for eighth, and Kylie Lagerquist shot a 163.   • Saco Shootist Society Cowboy Shoot This Weekend

    The Saco Shootist Society will be hosting their 25th annual Cowboy Shoot on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, at the Saco Shootist Society Range, about one mile south on the Larb Creek Road. Shoots will start at 10 a.m. each day and a pot luck will follow at noon. Shoots will include single-action pistols, lever guns and shotguns. Guns and ammo will be available.
