It was a monumental weekend for the Glasgow Wrestling Club. After coming up just a half point short of the Large Team Girls State Championship in 2021, the Highlander Girls came out with intensity and won the 2022 Large Team AAU State Championship. This year's girls tournament featured 54 youth wrestling clubs and 302 total Girls. GWC also swept the "10-man Championship" in the girls tournament winning the Inaugural Walt Egged Award.
