    North Country's girls basketball team proved why they were ranked number one in the state with a sweep of the Eastern C Divisional tournament to earn a repeat trip to the State Tournament. The poised squad improved their 2022-23 season record to 23-0 overall as they eye up a state title this weekend.     Glasgow’s boys basketball team ended their season in Shelby this past weekend at the Northern B Divisional Tournament. Glasgow fell to Fairfield 78-34 in the opening round March 2. Knocked back to loser-out action on Friday, the Scotties hit the court against the Rocky Boy Northern Stars. Rocky Boy earned the 57-55 win, scoring a bucket with 3.5 seconds left in the game.     The Lustre Christian girls basketball team saw their season come to an end at the Eastern C Divisional tournament in Wolf Point this past weekend. The Lions fell 49-23 to the Culbertson Cowgirls in the opening round of play March 1. They fell 50-33 to the MonDak Thunder in loser-out action Thursday.     After going out in two games at last year's District 3C tournament, a much-improved Nashua boys basketball team made it to the Eastern C Divisional Tournament in Wolf Point this season. The Porcupines ended this year at the penultimate tournament of the year, losing out in two games. Nashua fell 48-32 in the opening round of play Thursday to Froid/Lake.
