Filings for County Offices in Valley County will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 11. Special District filings closed Feb. 12. The Fort Peck Senior Citizens are sponsoring the eighth annual fun walk/run across the face of Fort Peck Dam on March 16, 2024. It is called “SLAM THE DAM 8” (Run with the Wind). This is a non-competitive walk/run – no times will be kept. The Glasgow Ice Dawgs went 4-0-1 in the Big Sky High School League State Tournament in Billings, topping off the weekend with a huge 5-4 overtime championship win over the Miles City Generals to fetch home their second state title in three years.
