    The North Country girls held their number one slot in District 3C with wins over Circle and Turner this past week. The Mavericks are 3-0, 8-0 overall, with a 47-40 win over Circle Jan. 3 and a 42-24 victory over Turner the following day. The North Country boys fell 52-42 to Circle but beat Turner 57-51.     The Lustre boys added two wins to their record and hold the top slot in the District 3C with a 2-0, 7-0 overall record. They beat Frazer 84-10 Jan. 3 and downed Bainville 69-12 Jan. 4. The Lions girls team dropped their games 70-60 to Frazer and 45-27 to Bainville. The girls sit in fourth in the district with a 1-1, 4-3 overall record.     Eastern Montana Gymnastics (EMG) attended their first two meets of the 2024-2025 season in Dickinson and Bismarck, N.D. Glasgow Middle Schooler Camryn Kemmis represented Glasgow at the meets. In Dickinson on Dec. 8, 2024, EMG had two all-around winners, with River Darby winning the entire Bronze level out of 32 gymnastics, and Aubrey Ziegler tying for first place in the Gold level for her age group.     The Glasgow girls wrestling team went 7-5 at the Miles City Mixer Jan. 4 while the boys went 3-7 at the duals. Bailey Dooley and Avery Pedersen led the Scottie girls with two wins each.     The Glasgow Ice Dawgs welcomed the Mossbank (Saskatchewan, Canada) Blades to town Jan. 3 and 4 for a pair of non-league games.
