    The City of Glasgow at a work session on Aug. 13, gave preliminary approval to a general fund budget and set assessments for the new fiscal year. The general fund budget was set at $3,318,112. The general fund budget funds services such as the Glasgow Police Department, Glasgow Fire Department and the Glasgow Recreation Department.     The Montana Wheat and Barley Committee reports that they’ve been out with producers and have returned with harvest numbers. Yields are being reported as anywhere from 40 to 85 bushels per acre, with some anomalies getting up to 120 bushels per acre.
