The 28th annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 22, at Glasgow Senior Citizen Center, located at 328 4th Street South. Last year, 206 folks enjoyed the dinner with hopes of exceeding that number this year. Over the past 27 years, approximately 4,600 people have enjoyed the event. There is always plenty of food and no one goes hungry. Hey all you Scottie Fans, don’t you think it’s time that we start supporting our student athletes and coaches instead of criticizing their every move? There is way too much negativity in high school athletics. The only good that comes from being negative is getting the athletes to fight amongst each other and to not support one another or the coaching staff. Being negative only hurts the athletes.
