    The weather couldn't have been more perfect for the Glasgow Recreation Department's seventh annual Monster Dash at Sullivan Trail on Oct. 30. With a total of 77 participants ranging in age from babies, to toddlers, to kids, to adults, everyone completed the 1.5 mile race on their own time, choosing between walking and/or running the course.   • Veterans Memorial Dedication To Those Who Served

    The Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial in Fort Peck saw some additions on Oct. 20 as the crew from MT Granite, Great Falls, installed Gold Star casualty marble slabs on the inside of the Memorial's pillars. These casualties are from World War I to date and highlight 494 names from the nine northeastern Montana counties represented in the Memorial.     According to Valley County Attorney Dylan Jensen, Glasgow resident Justice Meland was sentenced in District Court in Glasgow on Oct. 3 after previously pleading guilty to a single count of sexual intercourse without consent. Judge Yvonne Laird sentenced Meland to 20 years with the Montana Department of Corrections with all but two years suspended.
