    According to Valley County Attorney Dylan Jensen, Glasgow resident Justice Meland was sentenced in District Court in Glasgow on Oct. 3 after previously pleading guilty to a single count of sexual intercourse without consent. Judge Yvonne Laird sentenced Meland to 20 years with the Montana Department of Corrections with all but two years suspended. Judge Yvonne Laird also levied a $5,000 fine and recommended he be placed in a facility where he can continue to receive treatment with his current medical providers.     During the Glasgow City Council meeting on Aug. 1, the Council gave final approval for an annual two percent increase in water and sewer rates for city customers through September 2027.
