    On July 6, at 8:40 a.m., the Valley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the cabin area of Fort Peck Lake for an unresponsive two-year old, later identified as Cullen Meland, found in the water. Meland, son of Braden and Bethany Meland, of Billings, was staying with relatives in the area when the accident occurred.     Mother Nature made her presence known in more ways that one over the last week with severe thunderstorms, flooding and a tornado.     The Hi-Line Sportsmen recently donated $20,000 to the Valley County Community Pool Campaign to help fulfill the funding goal of $3,600,000 to build a new swimming pool in Glasgow.
