    Glasgow school students, staff and the community came together this past week to help raise funds to assist with the travel and medical costs for the Milam family. Glasgow Middle School student Jack Milam has been diagnosed with a form of cancer called Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma.     Valley County is one of the 49 counties who have chosen to not follow a directive from the administration of Gov. Greg Gianforte by scaling back their collections of a state-level school funding property tax. These 49 counties will levy 77.9 mills of school equalization tax for 2023, as opposed to the full 95 mills ordered by the Montana Department of Revenue.
