    The Glasgow Scotties' football season came to a disappointing end in front of a home crowd at the hands of the Bigfork Vikings in the first round of playoffs. The visiting Bigfork team was, well, big. And they used their height and weight advantage on the lines to run up a 49-0 win over Glasgow. Bigfork took early command of the game, scoring their first touchdown less than a minute and a half into play. Seniors Trey Johnson and Austin Hughes and juniors Mo Fast and Ashton Potter were named to the first team. Seniors Kyler Hallock and Gage Siefert, juniors Mason Donaldson and Ethan Nickels, sophomores Tatum Hansen and KJ Ingram and freshman Wyatt Babb earned second team honors.     Frazer, Lustre Christian and Nashua each faced a play-in game, all played on Oct. 26, for the District 1-C volleyball tournament in Scobey. Unfortunately, the three Valley County teams fell, ending their seasons. Frazer traveled to Fairview in their bid to keep the Bearcubs season going. The young and inexperienced Bearcubs fell in the match 15-25, 6-25, 15-25. Lustre Christian lost their play-in bid to Bainville 16-25, 9-25, 9-25.     The Glasgow Cross Country teams brought home three All State finishers from the state meet in Missoula on Saturday. Reed Larsen led his Scottie boys' team with a seventh place finish and All State honors. The girls' team was led by Iris McKean, who placed fourth overall, and Tanae Baker, who claimed ninth place, both earning All State accolades.     The Scotties bounced back from their loss against Malta in grand fashion, defeating the Wolf Point Wolves 58-7 on the road Oct. 22.     Nashua's Alyssa Murdock was the lone Porcupine at the State Cross Country Meet in Missoula Oct. 23.     The Frazer Bearcubs sent six runners to the State Cross Country meet in Missoula Oct. 23. Ty Fourstar and Anthony Jackson represented the Frazer boys team during the Class C boys race.
