    The Scottie boys won the Poplar Invitational cross country meet Sept. 3, finishing three points ahead of their hosts with 37 points to Poplar's 40. Glasgow was led by Reed Larsen, Kyler Holinde and KJ Ingram who all finished in the top ten. Glasgow's girls team scored 73 points, finishing behind Poplar's 45-point first place finish.     Huntley Project established their lead over Glasgow in the first quarter and never relinquished it, winning over the Scotties 42-14.     Glasgow’s volleyball squad attended the Chinook Invitational Sept. 3 where they posted a 2-3 record.     Frazer Frazer’s cross high school country teams competed at the Poplar Invitational Sept. 3, though neither team fielded enough runners to qualify for a team score. Ty Fourstar and Joseph Beston ran the boys race. Fourstar ran a 27:47.85 for 52nd place and Beston placed 55th with a time of 34:29.90. On the girls side, Angel Nelligan and Shakira Beston competed.     Glasgow's football team started their season at home Aug. 27 with a decisive 56-6 win over the Colstrip Colts. The Scotties hit the field with a purpose that had the visitors calling a timeout after only three plays to regroup as Glasgow owned the field.     An EF-2 tornado directly hit the small community of Glentana July 18 causing extensive damage to property but, to the relief of residents, community members emerged unscathed. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Glasgow, the tornado touched down 5.5 miles southwest of Glentana at 5:47 p.m. and moved to the northeast ending at 5:56 p.m. The average path width was 457 yards and then traveled 8 miles.     Update: The National Weather Service in Glasgow confirmed an EF-2 tornado hit Glentana. A tornado-warned storm went through Glentana July 18.     The Glasgow Reds claimed second place at the Williston Tournament this past weekend. Glasgow defeated Froid 6-0 and Williston 15’s 8-2 to put them in first place in pool play.
