    The Glasgow Ice Dawgs won their home opener doubleheader against the Bozeman Ice Dogs. Glasgow cruised to an easy 9-2 win Saturday night and an 8-1 victory Sunday morning. The Dawgs dominated puck control over the course of the two games, proving to be as strong offensively playing down a man as they were at full strength.     The North Country Mavericks claimed second place at the Eastern C Divisional Volleyball Tournament held in Sidney last weekend. North Country started the tournament with a loss against the Circle Wildcats. The Mavericks moved into the backside of the bracket where they defeated the Scobey Spartans and the Plentywood Wildcats.     The 2023 volleyball season ended for the Glasgow Scotties in Malta this past weekend at the Northern B Divisional Tournament. The Scotties took a loss in the first round to the Fairfield Eagles before falling to the Wolf Point Wolves in loser-out action. Glasgow lost 8-25, 13-25, 16-25 to eventual-Divisional champ Fairfield Thursday.
