The Glasgow Ice Dawgs took extra time but pulled off a win in a shootout against the Richland Rangers Dec. 16. Glasgow earned the 3-2 win after both teams failed to score in 3-on-3 overtime. Goalie Jacob Potter shut out the Rangers in the shootout. Peyton Smith and Bode Barnett both put the puck past the Richland netminder in the shootout. The home team took a 14-8 lead in the first but a buzzer-beater by Sidney put the Eagles up 25-23 at the half.
