The Glasgow Scottie 14U softball team traveled to Sidney for a pair of games on June 29 and defeated Sidney by 10 runs in each contest. The wins, and a 10-0 record in league play, earned them the title of MonDak Champs. With 15 runs off of 12 hits, the first game resulted in a 15-5 error-free victory for Glasgow. The Glasgow Reds faced the Wolf Point Yellowjackets in a double-header in Wolf Point on June 26. The action began with the first game at 5:30 p.m., which ended with Glasgow on top 16-2. The 9th Annual Aaron "Chappy" Chatten Memorial softball tournament was held in Fort Peck on June 15 and 16. Eight teams played 14 games beginning Saturday morning at John Hahn Field. FORE! The Kids Cup Golf Tournament is a fun and great way to raise money for our future golfers. This year's event will be held on Sunday, June 23, at Sunnyside Golf Course. Saturday, June 1 The 14U softball girls had a trio of wins on June 1 when they faced Glendive Red and Sidney at Sullivan Field. The Scottie All-Sports Banquet was held May 28 at the St. Raphael's gym. An estimated 300 student athletes and their supporters attended and enjoyed a meal sponsored by the Scottie Booster Club. The Glasgow School Board met in regular session at the District Board Room on May 15. The meeting came just one week after the public rejected a general fund levy request for the fourth consecutive year.
