The Scottie matmen competed at the CMR Holiday Wrestling Classic in Great Falls Dec. 14 and 15, following a stop in Fort Benton for a warm-up JV mixer on Dec. 12. The Glasgow Scotties had a full weekend of wrestling with duals held Dec. 7, and the 23rd Annual Scottie Invitational held Dec. 8. The 2018 Class C Showcase did not disappoint. The two-day event was held at GHS Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, with 16 teams in attendance. The Scottie wrestlers began their season with a busy, but productive weekend, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The grapplers kicked things off with duals on Friday night in Sidney and earned some extraordinary wins, defeating AA Billings West, 38-36, and the defending B/C champions from Colstrip, 48-26. The Bantam Ice Dawgs hosted Havre at the Valley Event Center on Dec. 1. The teams faced off twice during the day, with Glasgow recording two wins over Havre, 4-1 and 10-1.
