There was a great turnout at the youth pheasant and waterfowl kick-off event Sept. 21 in Glasgow at the Glasgow Trap Club. Over 30 area youth showed up and shot trap, and heard info on a variety of topics including Block Management and other access programs, rules and regs, how to ask permission to hunt, waterfowl and upland gamebird ID, using waterfowl decoys and blinds, bear awareness, and how to use and read maps and map apps.
