Just a quick note to end a very quick tenure here at the Glasgow City-County Library. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you at the Glasgow City-County Library. It has been almost 18 months since I became your library director and it has been an adventure. Last year, we made serving you our top priority. The Glasgow City-County Library is constantly looking for ways to improve and expand our service. Please plan to join us for Tuesday Tech Nite on July 29. Our host, Brian Gregory, will be here to answer your “how do I?” to “what should I do when?” questions. We start at 5...
The Glasgow City-County Library is happy to announce that we are on track to have a new look by the end of July. Our new look will include both interior and exterior updates in specific areas of the library. While we are under transformation, we will be challenged to stay up and running while clearing out the entire children’s area and circulation area. Quite frankly, there will be a few days where we just cannot maintain safety of our patrons and our doors will have to be closed. Most days we will be open. However, some items – books, mov...
