Dear Editor, As the longest serving Sheriff in the history of Valley County, I feel the need to put some input into the job of Sheriff/Coroner. The Sheriff/Coroner has many duties: the jail, dispatch, civil department, coroner, search and rescue and officer of the District Court. To be a good sheriff, you must be a good manager.
