Scotty wrestlers defeat Sidney, Havre at Glasgow Triangular

| The Glasgow Scotty wrestling team hosted Sidney and Havre for a triangular at Glasgow on Dec. 22. There was plenty of entertaining wrestling action for fans of all ages. Wrestling under the lights always ads to the atmosphere of the sport, as well as the fans cheering for their favorite athlete. The gym was a deafening roar during the last dual of the night as the Scotties, three-time Class B state champions, paired up with the Havre Blue Ponies, also three-time Class A state champions. The first dual for the evening had Glasgow paired up with Sidney. The Scotties won the first round with a final team score of 37-31. Next for the evening, Sidney paired up with Havre and was defeated again, 51-24. It was a tough night for the Sidney Eagles. The final dual was secured after seven of the Scotty wrestlers defeated their opponents by pin. Glasgow forfeited four weight classes and still came out on top with a final team score of 45 to 36.
